The
Statewide Traffic Records Executive Oversight Committee (STREOC)
was formed in January 2002. The STREOC Members represent many State and Federal agencies.
The
mission of the STREOC is to provide policy direction to the Statewide
Traffic Records Coordinating Committee (STRCC) in the establishment
of a long-range traffic records system strategic plan.
The STREOC members provided input and guidance in the creation
of the STRCC Strategic Plan. The plan was approved at a joint STRCC and STREOC meeting held on December 12, 2002.
The
STREOC meets on a quarterly basis and provides the STRCC with feedback
on their current initiatives and input in solving problems associated
with improvements in the State's traffic records systems. Michael
Sandoval is the Acting STREOC Chairperson and the Acting Bureau
Chief of the New
Mexico Department of Transportation,Traffic Safety Bureau.
